Here's a quick overview of what to expect.

What makes Resilience different?

Individualized. We develop an individualized plan for each child based on their personal goals.

Person-Centered. We offer person-centered services that revolve around each child's' interests, motivation, and priorities.

Evidence-Based. We teach executive function skills using the evidence-based and proven methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

High Quality. We are a team of Masters and Doctoral Level Professionals whose passion is teaching children the executive function skills they need to be successful throughout their lives.

Data Driven. We collect data on the skills your child is learning to efficiently monitor your child's progress and modify coaching practices as needed.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are held in-person or online, depending on your child's individual needs and preferences.

When do sessions take place?

Sessions are typically one hour long and occur once or twice a week dependent on the level of support your child needs.

Do you only work on executive functioning skills for academic tasks?

We can also help your child with non-academic areas such as building self-care, hygiene, other independent living skills, as well as college application prep.

What does the process entail?

  • Free Consultation

  • Intake process: includes interviews and establishing service agreements.

  • Initial assessment: includes a record review and executive function assessment. Goals are established based on assessment results and client and caregiver collaboration.

  • Your child is matched with a coach.

  • During the initial assessment and 1:1 coaching sessions, data are collected to monitor ongoing progress.

  • Communication regarding the plan, progress, and modifications occur throughout the course of services.

  • For all services, the parent/guardian is encouraged to participate in as many sessions as possible and incorporate caregiver-mediated strategies throughout daily interactions and routines to maximize intervention outcomes.

  • For school-aged children under the age of 8, parents/guardians should participate in all sessions as children of this age will require caregiver-mediated support to participate in sessions and manage these skills.

Does a client need an evaluation such as a neuropsychological evaluation?

Your child does not need an evaluation to begin services. We will conduct an intake interview and assess your child's current skills at the start of services. If your child has an evaluation we will integrate recommendations into your child's plan.
